Boulder, Colo. - Me.dium, a developer of technology that connects users who visit the same websites, announced on Monday that it has raised $15 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Commonwealth Venture Partners.

Other investors included Spark Capital, Appian Ventures and independent investor Brad Feld.

Boulder, Colo.-based Me.dium's plug-in for the Firefox Web browser lets users see when other users -- who have also downloaded the plug-in -- visit the same websites they do, and chat with them.

The service currently counts around 15,000 users, VentureBeat reported.
