Dallas - Video rental giant Blockbuster announced on Tuesday that it has chopped a dollar off of the subscription plan prices for its online DVD rental service. Blockbuster by Mail, which offers around 70,000 titles, will now cost $4.99 per month for the cheapest plan, while the most-popular, three-out unlimited movie plan will now cost $16.99 per month. Rival Netflix's similar three-out service currently costs $17.99 per month.
