San Jose, Calif. - DVC Labs, a developer of mobile Web browser technology, has raised $4.8 million in its first round of funding, which was co-led by Trinity Ventures and Matrix Partners.

Founded last year, San Jose, Calif.-based DVC Labs said its mobile browser technology will decrease download times, and improve navigation and presentation of content on mobile devices.

The company will use the funds to expand its team of engineers and marketers, continue product development and prepare for its launch later this year.
