Shock Jocks Opie & Anthony Return to XM Friday, Following Suspension

Washington - Following a one-month suspension stemming from comments they made on their satellite radio show, popular shock jocks Opie & Anthony are set to return to the airwaves of XM Satellite Radio on Friday.

Hosts Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia were suspended in mid-May following an on-air segment in which a homeless man talked about having sex with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Queen Elizabeth II and first lady Laura Bush.

Though the hosts later apologized, XM chose to penalize the pair to "make clear that our on-air talent must take seriously the responsibility that creative freedom requires of them."
