EMI Adds DRM-Free MP3s to PassAlong Networks Online Stores

London - Major record label EMI has signed another deal to distribute digital tracks from from digital rights management (DRM) restrictions, this time with Tennessee-based PassAlong Networks. Under the deal, online music stores powered by PassAlong's StoreBlocks technology -- such as Trans World Entertainment's f.y.e. -- will offer EMI tracks as 320Kbps MP3s.
