New York - NBC Universal said this week that its joint online video distribution venture with News Corporation is set to launch in September, rather than this summer as the companies had said when announcing the venture in March, Reuters reported.
The unnamed venture aims to compete with sites like YouTube, and will offer movies and TV shows both from the two founders and many other partners through its own site, as well as through a network of distribution partners.
