XM to Broadcast Concerts by Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

Washington - XM Satellite Radio said this week that it has signed a deal to broadcast eight performances of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra during the 2007-08 concert season. The series will debut with a live broadcast on Sept. 27, the inaugural concert of new BSO music director Marin Alsop -- the first female music director of a major American orchestra.
