2007 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Pictures

Authored by Scott Goldberg on June 18, 2007 - 4:39pm.
Sabina Sciubba of Brazilian Girls (2)Where to begin?  How about with some photos.  The teams at Super Fly Productions, AC Entertainment, and the press crew of Ken Weinstein and Big Hassle once again put on a doozy of a show, selling out the 2007 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival to 80,000 people.  A program catered to every walk of life, to every taste and age, Bonnaroo has come to represent everything a summer festival should be.  Of course everyone had their favorite moments, and if you were there, write and give me a story or three.  Enjoy the pics, and check back throughout the week for more on the show…

Nice pics!

I love the pics Scott! I was at Bonnaroo too. You missed some great acts like The White Stripes and Widespread Panic in those pics, but otherwise...love 'em!

Agreed

Great photographs. I didn't go to the Roo but that STS9 picture perfectly captures that band. Huge STS9 fan, seen them a bunch, and that picture put me at the Bonnaroo show.

"Can someone tell me who this is? He was a Bonnaroo Legend"

The guy in the red plaid jacket is "Beatle Bob" Matonis from St. Louis, MO. He is a legend in the St. Louis music scene, he has allegedly been to at least one live show every night since Christmas Eve 1996, and seen over 10,000 bands over the last decade. You can also see him in the 2004 Bonnaroo DVD dancing to Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and Ween.

Thanks Blake! Much

Thanks Blake! Much appreciated. Beatle Bob is the Man. He danced like a maniac all weekend. A Legend.
