Menlo Park, Calif. - Jentro Technologies, a Germany-based provider of location-based mobile software and services, said on Wednesday that it has received a $28 million investment from New Enterprise Associates.
Jentro offers Internet services, local search and user generated content with voice guided 3-D mobile navigation on phones and connected devices.
"People want real-time, location-based services and navigation capabilities from their phones, yet the choices are slim," said NEA partner Ravi Viswanathan. "Jentro fills the void."
