New York
- Publisher Ziff Davis Media announced on Thursday that it will sell the assets of its Enterprise Group, which includes the magazines eWEEK, CIO Insight and Baseline, and a number of technology industry conferences, to New York-based private equity and venture capital firm Insight Venture Partners for about $150 million.

The group includes a database of 3.5 million business and technology users. Employees will remain in their current locations in New York, San Francisco and Boston.

"Many of our portfolio companies have successfully advertised with the Enterprise Group for years and we are proud to be associated with these brands," said Insight managing director Deven Parekh.

*The original version of this story erroneously referred to the Ziff Davis magazine 'CIO Insight' as 'CEO'.

Ziff doesn't have a magazine

Ziff doesn't have a magazine called "CEO" The actual name is "CIO Insight." Too bad Ziff got it wrong in their own press release (calling it "CIO magazine" and you got it wrong calling it CEO magazine.

Thanks
