New York - Emmis Communications, which owns 23 U.S. radio stations, announced on Monday that it has tapped StreamAudio to be the streaming provider for all of its stations. The company will deliver Emmis' radio signals on the Internet and provide software used to remove on-air spots and deliver Internet ads. San Jose, Calif.-based StreamAudio provides its service for more than 500 stations, owned by companies including Cox, Cumulus and Simmons.
