Washington - Slate, the daily online news and entertainment magazine owned by The Washington Post, said on Monday that it has launched a new online video magazine. Slate V will feature original video, top picks from around the Web and selected user-generated video. The company named multiple Emmy-winner Bill Smee as the site's executive producer, and former NPR correspondent Andy Bowers as editor of Slate V, which will cover topics including news and politics, culture and entertainment, and humor and animation.
