Apple, AT&T Announce iPhone Service Plan Pricing

Cupertino, Calif. - Apple and AT&T on Tuesday announced pricing of service plans for the iPhone, for which consumers will be required to purchase a two-year contract when the device goes on sale on Friday.

All of the plans include visual voicemail, unlimited data for Internet and e-mail, and 200 text messages a month.

A basic $60 per month plan includes 450 anytime minutes and 5,000 night and weekend minutes; while an $80 plan includes 900 anytime minutes, and unlimited nights and weekends; and $100 per month includes 1,350 anytime minutes. For heavier users, a $219 monthly plan includes 6,000 anytime minutes.
