Health Club Digital Network IdeaCast Gets $7 Million

Centennial, Colo. - National CineMedia, the operator of an in-theater digital advertising and programming network, announced on Wednesday that it make an up to $7 million equity investment in IdeaCast, a digital media network in health clubs.

Chicago-based IdeaCast has secured multi-year agreements with CNN, CNBC and MSNBC to re-distribute network programming, paired with custom advertising, in nearly 600 U.S. health clubs.

Colorado-based National CineMedia, a joint venture of theater owners AMC Entertainment, Cinemark USA and Regal Entertainment Group, operates a digital advertising network that includes 14,000 movie theater screens.
