Mountain View, Calif. - meebo, a website for users of instant messaging platforms, said this week that 20 music industry partners have launched rooms on its site where users can chat and view media live with IM buddies. Since launching the feature on May 15, over 75,000 such rooms have been created by labels including Capitol, Jive, Island Def Jam, Nettwerk Music Group and Virgin Records.
