CBS' Last.fm Online Social Music Network Licenses Sony BMG Catalog

New York - Last.fm, the online social music network recently acquired by CBS for $280 million, announced on Monday that it has signed a new global licensing agreement with major label Sony BMG.

Under the deal, Sony BMG's catalog will be made available to the 20 million users of Last.fm's streaming radio service.

The London-based company also has licensing deals in place with EMI, Warner Music Group, The Orchard, IODA and many independent labels and musicians.
