San Mateo, Calif. - Tira Wireless, a provider of technology and services for mobile content publishing, announced on Monday that it has raised $5 million in its fourth round of financing, from existing investors Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, Brightspark Ventures, Flagship Ventures and Export Development Canada.

Founded in 2001, San Mateo, Calif.-based Tira has provided mobile content development, porting, delivery and other services for customers including Warner Bros., THQ Wireless and Yahoo.

The company will use the funds to extend its technology into markets beyond mobile entertainment.
