Seattle - RealNetworks announced on Monday that it has struck a deal with LyricFind to offer searchable lyrics on Rhapsody Online, the Web-based version of the company's digital music service.

LyricFind has licensed content from over 1,800 major and independent music publishers, including EMI Music Publishing, BMG Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing, Famous Music and Cherry Lane Music.

The lyrics on Rhapsody will also be indexed by major search engines, drawing additional visitors to the site who are searching out song lyrics.

RealNetworks said that Rhapsody Online, which offers over 3.5 million songs for streaming, attracted over 6.7 million unique users in May.
