New York - Dailymotion on Tuesday announced the launch of a U.S. version of its France-based video-sharing service. The site offers content partners revenue sharing through both banners and in-stream video ads. The company named Catherine Muller, former general manager of MTV UK, to lead international content acquisition and development, and Joy Marcus, former senior vice president of global marketing at Time Warner, to lead the U.S. expansion. Dailymotion said that 15,000 new videos are uploaded daily to the site, which claims 3 million daily visitors.
