Paris - Glowria, an online DVD rental service in Europe, has raised $8.3 million in new financing, Alarm Clock Euro reported.

Participating in the round were previous investors Seventure, Crédit Agricole Private Equity and Mousse Partners.

France-based Glowria currently counts 35,000 subscribers to its online DVD rental subscription service. The company also operates a video-on-demand service with FNAC and Neuf Cegetel in France.
