Los Angeles - At E3 on Wednesday, Nintendo introduced three new controllers for its Wii game console, including a "balance board" peripheral that gamers will use with a new fitness title called "Wii Fit."

In addition to the balance board, Nintendo also unveiled a steering wheel controller that will ship with "Mario Kart Wii," set for release in the first quarter of 2008, as well as the Wii Zapper -- a $19.99 housing that combines the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers into a single gun-like controller.

The Zapper will be compatible with titles including "Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles," "Ghost Squad" and "Medal of Honor."
