Sony Pictures Television International announced today that Sander Schwartz has been appointed president, international production, and becomes head of SPTI's global production group. This appointment is a result of the expansion of SPTI's local language production efforts, which to date have produced over 9,000 hours of programming in over 30 countries in 13 languages. SPTI is the division of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) responsible for all television, mobile and digital distribution businesses outside of the United States.

 

Westwood One, Inc. announced today that it has hired Gary Yusko as Chief Financial Officer, effective July 16, 2007. Mr. Yusko held various positions with the Company from 1985 through 2006, and last actively served as the Company's Executive Vice President Financial Operations. He replaces Andrew Zaref, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

 

Glu Mobile Inc., a global publisher of mobile games, today announced two executive appointments reflective of the company’s expanding global footprint. The new roles were developed in order to increase efficiency in sharing best practices of Glu’s teams worldwide while increasing the focus of the company’s nine regional offices around the world. Today’s announcement follows the recent news of the opening of Glu’s development studio in Beijing and offices in Italy and Spain.  Jill Braff, who formerly held the position of senior vice president of worldwide marketing and general manager of the Americas, has been named senior vice president of global publishing and now oversees the company’s licensing, marketing and sales efforts worldwide. Alex Galvagni, the company’s chief technology officer, has added the title of senior vice president of global development, responsible for product development, technology services, porting and deployment.

Revision3, an Internet television network, today announced that Jim Louderback has been named chief executive officer effective today. Jay Adelson, Revision3’s founder and CEO since 2006, will serve as advisor and remain involved with the company as chairman of the board of directors.
