Frankfurt - HD DVD players have outsold the rival Blu-ray format three-to-one so far this year in Europe, Reuters reported, citing figures from the European HD DVD Promotional Group. The trade group claims 74% market share across Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland for stand-alone players, according to sales data it commissioned from GfK, a market research group.
