Albuquerque, N.M. - Novint Technologies, a developer of 3D touch for consumer computing, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Tournabout Incorporated, which develops and markets video game contest and community infrastructure software.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

New Mexico-based Novint developed the Falcon, a 3D touch game controller that lets users feel touch sensations when playing enabled games.

"Our acquisition of Tournabout is part of our commitment to create a thriving Falcon user community," said Novint CEO Tom Anderson.

Novint said the addition of Tournabout's applications will allow Falcon users to develop online personas, participate in community message boards and chat rooms, post high scores, and join multiplayer games and online tournaments.
