Microsoft Corp. today announced that Don Mattrick, a former president at Electronic Arts Inc. (EA), will lead the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB), which includes overseeing the Xbox(R) and Games for Windows(R) businesses. Peter Moore, who currently serves as corporate vice president of IEB, has decided to move his family back to the Bay Area for personal reasons and has secured another opportunity in the video games industry.

MTV Networks (MTVN), a unit of Viacom, has promoted Greg Clayman to Executive Vice President, Digital Distribution & Business Development. He was formerly Senior Vice President, MTVN Mobile Media, a position he assumed in December 2006. Based in the company's New York City headquarters, Clayman will continue to report to Mika Salmi, President, Global Digital Media, MTVN.

Motionbox, a video sharing service, has announced the appointment of Shoshana Zilberberg-Winter as Chief Marketing Officer and Chris Brown as VP of Engineering, effective immediately.
