Tokyo - Sony's PlayStation 3 has now surpassed one million unit sales in Japan, taking more than four times as long as Nintendo's rival Wii to reach the milestone, Reuters reported, citing sales data from Japan's Enterbrain magazine. The PlayStation 3 has sold 1.01 million units in Japan as of July 15. Wii sales totaled 2.9 million units as of July 8, while sales of Microsoft's Xbox 360 were 420,705 units.
