The Director for Optimum Online Product Management will support the Vice President (VP) in the product management of Optimum Online, Cablevision’s broadband internet portal service with over 3M unique viewers per year. S/he will support the VP in leading the execution of the OOL product strategy by directing the organization towards achievement of revenue, net contribution, customer growth, and customer experience objectives.
Responsibilities include: • Continued refinement of the product strategy for OOL. • Identifying new opportunities for product enhancement and differentiation and developing the business case for introduction of all new features/offerings. • Working with Business Planning team to quantify financial impact to the business. • Understanding and reporting on emerging trends affecting the ISP market; evaluating market research, customer trends and technological advancements to recommend and champion product development initiatives. • Defining product requirements and customer experience for all new offerings. • Leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement new offerings on time and within budget. • Developing strategies for how best to offer new features (e.g. build, buy, partner); meet with prospective partners/vendors and partner with Network Management, Business Development, and Legal in the business development process. • Collaborating with Product Management colleagues in the video, voice, and Commercial business to develop cross-platform offerings that maximize acquisition, improve retention, and maintain cash flow growth. Qualifications: Key Experiences/Achievements: • Five years or more of Product Management and/or Marketing experience successfully managing high profile cross-functional projects for communications and/or entertainment services. • Prior experience developing and deploying successful, high scale communications and/or entertainment services. • Prior experience defining, targeting, and serving segments with demonstrated ability to deliver sales, revenue, cash flow, EBITDA or profit results. • Strategic insight about consumer and telecommunications, technology, and/or entertainment needs. • Product launch, process development, and operations experience. • Ability to design and speak effectively at management presentations using quantitative information in graphic and tabular forms.
