Enterprise Social Media Firm Awareness, Inc. Lands $7 Million

Waltham, Mass. - Awareness, Inc. (formerly known as iUpload), a provider of social media technologies to businesses, announced on Monday that it has raised $7 million in its first round of financing, from Greylock Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.

Massachusetts-based Awareness also named John Bruce as its chief executive.

The company plans to release its enterprise social networking platform later this summer.
