Web, Mobile Content Distributor Harmony Media Gets $4.5 Million

London - Harmony Media Group, the parent company of digital film publishing provider Filmnight Digital and online/mobile content distributor Saffron Digital, announced on Monday that it has raised $4.5 million in a new funding round, led by Beringea Capital.

Existing investors NewSmith Capital and Duet Asset Management also participated.

London-based Harmony Media Group also said it named Eric McClean as its new chairman, and appointed Shashi Fernando as its chief executive.

The company's Filmnight Digital unit's clients include Vodafone, T-Mobile, Trinity Mirror and Emap, while Saffron Digital clients include Disney Mobile, IPC Media, Zone Media, O2 and Vodafone.
