Alviso, Calif. - TiVo on Tuesday introduced a new high-definition digital video recorder that will sell for $299, a significant drop from the original $799 TiVo Series3 HD Digital Media Recorder. The device, which features up to 20 hours of HD storage or 180 hours of standard-definition content storage, will go on sale next month from retailers including Best Buy and Circuit City.
