Popkomm Seeks "MySpaces of Tomorrow" for Innovation Award

Berlin - Popkomm, the annual music and entertainment business convention in Berlin, announced that it is searching for entrants for its Popkomm Innovation in Music and Entertainment Award, which it hopes to award to one of the "MySpaces of tomorrow," organizers said. Judges for this year's award include Dave Goldberg, former managing director of Yahoo Music; Manuel Tessloff, business manager at EMI Music Publishing Continental Europe; and Fred Bolza, of U.K. performing rights society MCPS PRS Alliance. Entries are due by July 31, with a finalist screening session to take place during Popkomm 2007 in September.
