Los Angeles - News Corp.'s MySpace and Fox Broadcasting units announced on Thursday that they have partnered with the Producers Guild of America, on a contest that will seek online submissions of TV pilots from aspiring producers and award two the opportunity for a development deal with Fox. The Storyteller Challenge on MySpace launches on Sept. 4, when users can submit 5-7 minute pilots; MySpace users will then vote for favorites, and submit critiques and plot line suggestions. Six finalists will be flown to Hollywood to meet, screen and pitch their series ideas to a panel of judges. On Jan. 25, 2008, two winners will receive $25,000, the potential development deal with Fox, and the possibility to have their videos featured on MySpaceTV.
