Cary, N.C. - R.H. Donnelley, a yellow pages and online commercial directory company, has agreed to pay $345 million in cash to acquire Business.com, an online business search engine and directory company. Business.com employs about 100 technologists, strategists and businesspeople and serves more than 6,000 business-to-business advertisers and their agencies. The company is profitable and is expected to generate revenues of greater than $50 million in 2007, Donnelley said. Business.com was founded by Jake Winebaum, who previously led the Internet activities of The Walt Disney Co.
