Former Sony Developers Launch New Game Studio: Eat, Sleep, PlayAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on July 27, 2007 - 2:17pm.
Foster City, Calif. - A group of former Sony Computer Entertainment America executives on Friday announced the formation of a new game studio, Eat, Sleep, Play, and a development deal with Sony. The Utah-based company was created by David Jaffe, a former creative director for SCEA's Santa Monica Studios; and Scott Campbell, the founder of Sony's Incognito Entertainment studio -- who together worked on titles such as "Twisted Metal" and "Calling All Cars." In addition to a multi-year, multi-title deal to create titles for the PlayStation family of products, the company will also be creating "Twisted Metal: Head On" for PlayStation 2, which is scheduled to be released this winter.
