New York - Dailymotion, a France-based video-sharing site with 30 million users that recently launched U.S. operations, announced on Monday that it has signed a deal with media company RDF USA, to create Web series based on eight original concepts. RDF, led by former United Talent Agency partner Chris Coelen, has produced TV shows including "Wife Swap," "Don't Forget the Lyrics," "Junkyard Wars" and "Gene Simmons Rock School." The companies will collaborate on development, and share in revenue from online distribution and any television derivatives from the series, which will be created "with an eye towards brand integration," Dailymotion said.
