Casual Games Firm MumboJumbo Acquires Russia's Hot Lava

Dallas - MumboJumbo, a developer and publisher of premium casual games, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Hot Lava, a Russia-based casual games developer.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hot Lava, which developed the "7 Wonders" game series, will see its CEO Matt Lichtenwalter become vice president of product development at MumboJumbo.

Dallas-based MumboJumbo develops premium casual games for PCs and game consoles; its titles are available at retail and from game portal partners including RealNetworks, Microsoft, Yahoo and Big Fish.
