Santa Monica, Calif. - GGL (Global Gaming League), a producer of online game tournaments, announced on Tuesday the creation of the MLB Virtual World Series tournament.  The online baseball game tournament will commence in December with a pre-season ladder competition, followed by a regular season, playoffs and finally the Virtual World Series, which will coincide with MLB opening day in April 2008. GGL said it will produce showcase events at regular intervals involving professional MLB players.
