Bluebay Value Recovery Fund Buys 22.5% of Atari Parent Infogrames

Paris - French video game publisher Infogrames, the parent company of Atari, announced that the Bluebay Value Recovery Fund has purchased 22.5% of its stock, making it the largest shareholder in the struggling company.

Bluebay has told the French press that it is not looking to take control of Infogrames, although it will seek representation on the company's board, and purchase as much as 49% of its outstanding shares.

Other Infogrames shareholders include GLG group funds (9.29%) and Morgan Stanley (4.06%).
