Scotts Valley, Calif. - Amazon.com's CreateSpace unit said on Wednesday that it has launched a new Books on Demand self-publishing service for authors. The company also said that it will no longer charge any set-up fees to users of its on-demand book, CD and DVD creation service. Authors submit their works to CreateSpace, purchase a proof copy of their book, and can then be shipped to customers within 24 hours of orders.
