Aliso Viejo, Calif. - Online shopping site Buy.com on Wednesday introduced a service called Garage Sale that lets users sell goods directly from their Facebook social network profiles. The service lets prospective buyers complete purchases without ever having to leave the profile page, and sellers are charged no listing fees and "significantly lower individual transaction fees" than online auction sites. Buy.com plans to expand the Garage Sale service to other social networks as well.
