As the Director of Business Development/Sales, you will be responsible for developing opportunities for KickApps within the Media/Entertainment space, with online publishers, and/or online brands. You will be responsible for calling on and building relationships with senior executives within the Digital/Interactive Media divisions of our prospective customers. Responsibilities: • Secure new revenue opportunities within a territory/vertical • Develop and execute on territory account strategy • Provide reporting on activity and customer development • Provide customer insight to Product Management and Engineering • Work strategically with KickApps partners to develop new opportunities • Ensure complete customer satisfaction Requirements: • Experience selling internet and digital media solutions • Strong relationships within one or more of our target verticals • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Goal oriented personality, committed to success and a strong work ethic • Experience and passion around current Internet technologies and Web 2.0 trends • Must be comfortable calling on all levels of an organization • Extremely detail oriented, comfortable working independently, extremely well organized, have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies • 5 – 10 years of successful Business Development/Sales experience with consistent overachievement KickApps is a vibrant company, determined to provide the premier private-label social networking and user-generated content platform on the Web.
