San Mateo, Calif. - AdMob, a developer of mobile advertising tools that in March raised $15 million in its second round of funding, said on Tuesday that it has launched a new unit to help advertisers reach new Apple iPhone users. The company said that it already has signed 15 publishers to develop iPhone-specific content. AdMob said that its ad servers will now recognize iPhone users and serve iPhone-specific ads.
