Los Angeles - After "scheduling conflicts" threatened to limit the Republican version of a CNN and YouTube-sponsored presidential debate to just three candidates, a new date has been set for late November and both Rudy Giuliani and John McCain have committed to participate, Variety reported.

In addition to the candidates' schedules, some tension was caused after Florida Republicans promised Fox News its October GOP debate would be the first in the state, and then agreed to hold one with CNN and YouTube in September.

Some Republicans also questioned the partisan nature of questions from the Democratic YouTube debate.

"In the Republican debate, we are going to use questions from conservatives, Republicans and the religious right as well," CNN senior vice president David Bohrman told Variety, responding to those concerns.

Despite the addition of Giuliani and McCain, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney -- who told Variety the YouTube debate format lacked "respectfulness" -- has yet to respond to the invitation.
