Burbank, Calif. - Disney Interactive Studios on Tuesday announced the release of the first official game based on its hit franchise "High School Musical." "High School Musical: Makin' the Cut" for Nintendo DS features 12 songs from the movie and its sequel, and will allow players to create and trade original music video creations wirelessly with friends on the DS. The company said it will also release "High School Musical: Sing It!" for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii in the fall, a karaoke title that will utilize the Wii microphone.
