San Francisco - HandHeld Entertainment, an operator of entertainment sites and maker of portable media players, said on Wednesday that it has arranged for bridge financing of up to $5 million, from company co-founder Carl Page.

The San Francisco-based company, which recently acquired video site eBaum's World for $17.5 million, also proposed changing its name to ZVUE Corporation.

The company said it expects to ship 100,000 of its ZVUE portable media players in 2007, up from 70,000 in 2006.

HandHeld added that it anticipates revenue of between $6 million and $6.5 million for 2007, and expects to achieve profitability by the end of this year.
