New York - Logo, the LGBT television network owned by Viacom's MTV Networks, on Wednesday announced its acquisition of gay, multicultural-focused online social network DowneLink.com.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2004, DowneLink.com claims over 400,000 members, about 72% of whom are African American, Asian or Latino.

The site joins other MTV Networks online LGBT properties that include 365gay.com, AfterEllen.com, AfterElton.com, VisibleVote08.com and NewNowNext.com.
