Hamburg, Germany - Northworks, a German developer of online sports games, has raised an undisclosed sum of funding from High Tech Grunderfonds and ICS Holding, Alarm Clock Euro reported.

Northworks' titles include "GoalUnited," an English soccer team manager game, which is available in eight languages.

The company has also created a software development platform for rich media online games.
