Los Angeles - NBC has teamed with the major cable and satellite TV providers to make the pilot episodes for its upcoming fall TV shows available for preview on their video-on-demand systems, Variety reported.

Partners include Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Charter, Cox, DISH Network and DirecTV.

Episodes of NBC's "Chuck," "Bionic Woman," "Journeyman" and "Life" will be made available on Sept. 10, about two weeks prior to their broadcast premieres, along with a 30-minute NBC fall preview special.

"It's unprecedented in terms of its scope and participation," NBC U TV Networks Distribution executive vice president Henry Ahn told Daily Variety.
