Andover, Mass. - Veveo, a developer of mobile video search technology, has raised $14 million in its second round of venture capital financing, from returning investors Matrix Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners, MocoNews reported.

Andover, Mass.-based Veveo is set to launch its mobile video search service, vTap, next month, after spending several years on development.

The service will launch on Windows Mobile devices with an as yet unnamed partner, and with a cable TV operator for TV search.

The company will also launch an iPhone application, and has plans to launch Web-based widget applications.

Veveo has to date raised a total of $28 million.
