Game and Virtual World Developer Trilogy Studios Raises $3.2 Million

Santa Monica, Calif. - Trilogy Studios, a developer of video games and virtual worlds, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $3.2 million in its second round of venture capital financing, from undisclosed investors.

Founded in 2005, Santa Monica, Calif.-based Trilogy has produced games including "Medal of Honor," "The Chronicles of Riddick" and "The Simpsons: Hit and Run," and also worked with MTV Networks to develop its "Pimp My Ride" virtual world.

The company said the funds will be allocated to expand the its virtual world and casual massively multiplayer online game businesses.
